Bear Changes

February 11, 2012

Greetings my fellow Bear fans, been a little busy, sorry for my lack of posts the past week.

Back to football, how did you guys enjoy the Super Bowl? It started a bit slow, but turned out to be a pretty good game. Me myself, I had to support the NFC representative the GMEN.

On another note, there’s speculation that Matt Forte will be tagged, which he seems to be receptive to as long as it has a positive impact towards a long term contract, which I hope the Bears will make happen. The Bears hired Jeremy Bates as the quarterbacks coach, reuniting him with Jay Cutler. That reunion should prove beneficial for us this coming season. Tim Holt was also hired as offensive line coach, after spending the last three seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He’ll be working with Mike Tice, who was promoted to offensive coordinator. And just this morning Tim Bream, a Chicago Bear trainer for the last 19 years will be leaving to join his alma mater Penn State.

We shall have to see how all these changes will benefit our beloved Bears. Until next week BEARDOWN!!!

Sunday match up San Diego Chargers at Chicago Bears

November 20, 2011

San Diego Chargers (+4) at Chicago Bears: With four straight losses for the Chargers, it appears that Norv Turner is once again on the hot seat, but what else is new? It seems that every year his Chargers team underachieves and they are at it once again in 2011. Can they snap the skid in Chicago? The Bears come into this game red-hot, having won their last four games, including last weeks 37-13 domination over the Lions. The Chargers will come out and play better in this one, but it’s really all on Phillip Rivers. He looks like a different quarterback this season. I’m going with the Bears to win their fifth straight here in a tight one. Prediction: Bears 23, Chargers 20.
